Dreaming of a green wedding?

If you’re currently planning your wedding, no doubt you’ll be flooded with visits to Country House Hotels, castles and other cliché venues that cost a fortune and don’t offer anything that people haven’t seen before, let alone have any green credentials.

The team at Hello Eco Living are already starting to see next year’s wedding invites roll through the door, and we were inspired to investigate a green, gorgeous and definitely ‘out of the box’ wedding venue for those of you who are looking to green up your day and create that ‘wow’ factor that none of your friends or what bird in the office have ever thought about.

If you are dreaming of a luscious rainforest backdrop for their wedding day, but who don’t want to hop on a plane with select friends and family who can afford it, you’ll be happy to know that you can now tie the knot in the beautiful surroundings of the Eden Project.

Eden has recently opened its doors to allow weddings amid the rich foliage of the jungle in the Rainforest Biome, the fragrant surroundings of the Mediterranean Biome or overlooking the world-famous domes themselves.

If you need a hand in planning your day to tick all of the right ethical boxes, including the cake, flowers, wedding favours, and a seasonal banquet with a strong focus on locally-produced food then you can call upon Eden’s team of professionals to help.

You’ll not be short of stunning photo locations – some of which include the Rainforest Biome’s tumbling waterfall, its secluded Malaysian Hut and the Mediterranean Biome after-dark, where reflecting lights create the illusion of thousands of stars.
