This is the first face oil I have ever tried and I have to say I am impressed!
As someone with combination skin I was sure it was going to leave me feeling greasy, particularly for a base underneath makeup. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did it sink in quickly, but it didn’t leave me greasy or prone to break outs as I feared. I am not easily fooled with products and can often be rather a cheap skate but this product actually does what it says on the bottle and is worth the around £25 price tag. It really is suitable for all skin types! online casino in canada Whoever heard of a skin oil that can be used to prevent acne as this claims? No one! But as an oily type myself I was really pleased with the results.
My skin now feels smooth, healthy and even toned after only a month’s use. I can’t profess to know whether it would slow down the aging process as it claims because, let’s be honest, a month of using a product on 26 year old skin isn’t going to show much, but I have some faith that whatever your skin type or age, it will make improvements to the general tone and condition.
About the product:
Origin: Jojoba oil is sourced from the liquid wax of the Jojoba plant (otherwise known as the Simmondsia Chinensis plant) which originates in Northern Mexico and the south of the USA. Native American Women used this on their faces to protect them in the dry weather conditions.
Benefits: This oil has been proven to deliver moisture and nutrients far deeper into the skin than other moisturising products. The Oily Wax of the Jojoba plan is very close in texture to Sebum found in healthy skin and so the product soaks easily into the skin and pores and reflects the effect of having young skin whilst balancing oils. The oil has therefore been praised for its anti-aging effects. Jojoba oil is also good for scarring and stretchmarks and is full of antioxidants, vitamins and good Omega fatty acids.
Eco factors: The Jojoba Company only uses natural ingredients in their products so the product is non-toxic, has no harmful detergents, artificial colours or fragrances and no chemical parabens or PEGS. Their range contains no animal products and is not tested on animals. Jojoba Oil has also in recent years helped to reduce whale poaching as it has been found to be a great alternative to whale oils which are used in locomotive industries and cosmetic and beauty products.
How to use the product: Gently rub 2-3 drops of the oil into damp facial skin morning and night.
Prices and vendors: You can find some of The Jojoba Company’s products on Amazon. Typical price for a Skin Oil being £25 for an 85ml bottle. The main company website has the best range however, and you can buy the product reviewed her for $24.95 (Australian Dollars) with free shipping.
